Historic Preservation Plan for Historic Corridor in Downtown Tampa: I worked with a local NGO to create a historic preservation plan for a local historic corridor in downtown Tampa. This effort included geospatial analysis, land use analysis, second-story vacancy data, research on historic preservation grant programs, and potential partnership opportunities.
Resiliency & Adaptation Plan: I worked with a coastal city in Florida to develop an adaptation plan for their coastal resiliency efforts. This included extensive mapping using SLOSH, sea level rise, land use, socioeconomic, and critical infrastructure data. This project resulted in neighboring communities creating their own adaptation and sustainability plans.
Parks and Recreation Master Plan: This parks and recreation master planning process took place in the fastest growing county in Florida, Polk County. The project included a comprehensive community engagement process with a charrette, stakeholder interviews, local tours, statistically-valid surveys, and public workshops. The project resulted in several new parks and trails connecting community members to recreational amenities.
